Lydie whole adult life was dedicated to her family. First her husband and family and when she became widowed she never remarried but instead increase the focus and dedication to her children and family. She was the Matriarch of the family and was always there to support and when she was not there physically she supported them in spirit, always praying for the well being of her children and family.
